Primary Controls

Ride Away understands that not every person that comes through our doors is going to need the same mobility equipment for their modified vehicle, which is why we offer various types of primary driving controls.

We offer hand controls for the gas and brake operation. These are mechanical linkages that can be set up on the left or right side and come in many different varieties. Additionally, we have electronic gas and brake systems for those who have less range of motion or strength.

Reduced and zero effort steering and braking with full back up systems are also available for those who need this primary control modification. Finally, Ride Away installs left foot gas pedals for people who need the car’s throttle on the opposite side.
